In lieu of The Who's upcoming VH1 TV special, the band has recently announced that they will undertake a North American fall tour. Though a full arena tour is in the works, only two dates have currently been announced, a two night stay at Los Angeles' Nokia Theater on November 8th and 9th.
The afformentioned TV Special will take place July 12th (this Saturday) at UCLA's Pauley Arena, and will air next week, July 17th, on VH1. The special is being dubbed "Rock Honors" and will feature guest apperances by a number of adoring bands that were without question influenced by The Who such as Pearl Jam and the Flaming Lips.
