"Lazy Sunday" started it. "Dick in a Box" took the internet by storm. What's the next big hit song for the SNL Digital Short team? The Natalie Portman rap didn't exactly take because it didn't have a catchy chorus, "Iran (So Far)" was too specific of a joke to be referenced over and over.
Last night, I think they finally released their third viral sensation. It's called "Jizz in My Pants."
In it, Andy Samberg teams with his longtime Lonely Island mate and SNL staff writer Jorma Taccone, who we don't see appear on camera very often on the show.
I don't know how they got that past Standards. Cameos by Molly Sims, Justin Timberlake and Jamie-Lynn Sigler.
UPDATE: Turns out that this is an official music video for this song, which is the first single off of Lonely Island's debut album Incredibad, due out February 2009.
Usually, the rest of Saturday Night Live would be so terrible that a great Digital Short would end up being the highlight of the episode. Last night, however, they had a Barack Obama sketch earlier that was, in a word, cool.
