Recognize any of these faces? You probably should. Going from left to right we have:
Bun E. Carlos from Cheap Trick, James Iha from Smashing Pumpkins, Taylor Hanson from Hanson (remember them?), and finally Adam Schlesinger from Fountains of Wayne. Crazy huh? All four members are saying that Tinted Windows is a side project from their other works. The question is: can they not suck?
History tells us "No, they will suck." Notable and similar bands that failed are:
The Firm (Paul Rodgers, Jimmy Page, Nas and Foxy Brown)
Bad English (known as one of the worst bands in music...ever)
Eyes Adrift (ummm...who?)
Audioslave (eventual failure)
Velvet Revolver (which really underperformed)
So what can we really say about Tinted Windows so far? Not much, but until we see more from them here is a snippit for you to gauge your interest with.
