In a major update, Chris Brown has been charged by the L.A. County District Attorney, with one count of felony assault and one count of making a criminal threat which is also a felony.
Today around 3:30 Brown will be arraigned today in Downtown LA. This comes after the apparent photos of a beaten and bruised Rihanna surfaced. Because of the photos Brown could look at possible spending up to 5 years into prison. While it is doubtful he would get that if found guilty this is a stunning move in general.
This also comes after the rumor that Rihanna and Brown tied the knot secretly. The DA seems to have enough evidence to go forward with the case and with the pictures of Rihanna and other evidence Brown seems to be in a bad place here.
Just a few weeks ago we all thought this had blown over and we were just saying how bad of a person he was and how stupid Rihanna was for going back to him. Now, it seems that Brown is in deeper than he once thought.

The DA has announced he could face a maximum (probably won't make it this high) of 4 years and 8 months.
The document with the charges has "Robin F." as the alleged victim.
LAPD reports say that Rihanna had blood on her dress and was beaten severely. If you haven't seen the picture here is what it looks like.
