Sam Raimi to World: Check This Out ("Drag Me to Hell" Trailer)

So Sam Raimi's last movie didn't blow over too well with the majority of us filmgoers, but if you're anything like me, you can appreciate the vast majority of his body of work for its innate, overflowing ingenuity. Try this on for size:

There's the trailer for Raimi's new horror project, Drag Me To Hell, starring Alison Lohman and Justin Long. Now, I know what you may be thinking: "So Sam Raimi's producing another horror movie, eh?" Well, 29 times outta 30 you'd be right, but this time Sam's lending his filmmaking eye to the project personally, as director.

Until you can pre-order your 12:01 IMAX tickets for Spider-Man 4 in 2011, this will be your Raimi offering. And by God, I can't freakin' wait.

I feel that movies can be great in many ways. I feel that a great movie could be an artistic masterpiece or a guns-a'blazin' roller-coaster, pure magic or pure camp. There is another type of film, which I detest more than those which are horrible - Those which are mediocre, unremarkable.
