Someone Tell Stan Bush to Give Up on "Transformers"

If you're familiar with the 1987 Transformers: The Movie, you might remember the theme song "The Touch" by Stan Bush. If you don't, it's okay. It sucks. In 2007, Bush re-recorded a new version of "The Touch" and submitted it to be included for the Transformers movie soundtrack, but they rejected it and went with Linkin Park's "What I've Done" instead. So what did Stan Bush do? Why, he recorded a Linkin Park version of "The Touch," naturally.

Yes, he made this himself, complete with splicing in Transformers footage, to convince Michael Bay and Co. to put him in the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen soundtrack. Yes, he even went so far as to call it "The Touch: Sam's Theme."

Yeah, no. Let's put aside the fact that this version is even worse than the original, they already have the real Linkin Park doing a new song and part of the score for the new film. So, come on. Just... no. If they make a third movie, is he going to put out a dance remix? Actually, I'd like to see that.

By the way, remember when Mark Wahlberg sang this song on Boogie Nights? Best version of it. It was hilarious because it pretty much highlighted how ridiculous and perverted the song sounds.
