The Emmy's wasn't the only TV show hijacked by Dr. Horrible this week. A very special musical episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold came on in the UK this past Wednesday, featuring Neil Patrick Harris as the voice of the episode's villain. No, he didn't play Dr. Horrible, unfortunately, but instead a new Fiddler-inspired supervillain by the name of Music Meister, whose power is controlling people's actions through singing and starting a musical number.
"Mayhem of the Music Meister," as the penultimate Season 1 episode is called, was previewed at Comic-Con in July and news about it made the ep a hotly anticipated one fast. As soon as it aired in the UK, it was put on YouTube and spread around the 'net today.
Warner Bros' legal team was quick on the uptake, however, and it's now off of YouTube—though I'm certain that it's torrenting around somewhere—so for now, enjoy this audio-only excerpt, where Music Meister sings about the Batman that "Drives Us Bats."
