I've been pretty enthusiastic about the restoration of Fritz Lang's long-lost footage of Metropolis (I've written about it here, here and here), so it's a pretty exciting day today. The first screening of the full version in 83 years is premiering in Berlin RIGHT NOW and it's being streamed all over the world. You can watch the live video feed below.

Yes, you can't see the screen very well even in HD, but it's still pretty cool, isn't it?
I'm hoping this will get a repeat stream later, but if not, look for it to come to Blu-ray not too far in the future.
