US Military Bans 'Medal of Honor'

The Empire...err I mean Electronic Arts, which has pumped out more war games than Steven Seagal has terrible movies in the past decade has apparently gone too far for the US Military. There is now a ban on Medal Of Honor being sold on any base, due to it its extreme content.

Due to Medal of Honor being based in the current days it deals with our current Afghan and Iraq wars which is obviously a touchy subject. Instead of using a fictional war in the Middle East (see COD4 and CODMW2) they stuck with this idea and it hasn't resonated well with the US Military.

The big issue behind the ban is that you can play as the Taliban and kill US soldiers. I know what your saying, "but Sean in other MOH games you can play as Nazi's and kill American soldiers" to which i understand, but the problem is that war ended with a US victory 65 years ago and the Afghan and Iraq wars are still going on.

This ban has been taken a step further from some pundits and news syndicates for more retailers to not sell this game out of respect to our troops. Only time and sales numbers will say how this game fares and honestly...with Bad Company 2 already out and CoD: Black Ops as well as Halo: Reach set to drop this year too I think it will get lost in between pages of game history.
