Win "LennoNYC" on DVD

LennonNYCYou know his music; you know his legacy; now prepare to get intimate with the city John Lennon called home in this tremendous documentary featuring interviews with Yoko Ono, Elton John, and David Geffen. LennoNYC was created with the blessing of Yoko and offers an excellent look at the music icon after calling it quits with the Beatles. JustPressPlay is giving two readers the chance to win this stellar documentary, and you just have to do two things to enter the contest.

LennoNYC takes an intimate look at the time Lennon, Ono and their son, Sean, spent living in New York City during the 1970’s.  Following the breakup of the Beatles, the film follows the family as they move to Manhattan in 1971, where Lennon sought to escape the mayhem of the Beatles era and focus on his family and private life. And, as much as New York made an impact on Lennon and Ono by offering them an oasis of personal and creative freedom, so too did they shape the city.  At a time when New York faced record high crime, economic fallout and seemed to be on the verge of collapse, Lennon and Ono became beloved fixtures in neighborhood restaurants,  at Central Park, at sports events and at political demonstrations.  Lennon and Ono also bonded with millions of their fellow New Yorkers in their experience as immigrants.

To win, you just have to do two things:

He's a TV junkie with a penchant for watching the same movie six times in one sitting. If you really want to understand him you need to have grown up on Sgt. Bilko, Alien, Jurassic Park and Five Easy Pieces playing in an infinite loop. Recommend something to him - he'll watch it.
