Paramount Gets "Like Crazy" From Sundance

Amidst the feeding frenzy that is studios vying for distribution rights at the Sundance Film Festival, the latest little piece of news to come out of it all is that Paramount has bought up Like Crazy, starring Anton Yelchin (Star Trek), Felicity Jones (The Tempest), and Jennifer Lawrence (who'll be playing Mystique in Matthew Vaughn's upcoming X-Men: First Class) by Director Drake Doremus (Douchebag - it's a film, not our character judgment).

The official summary is as follows:

The story follows a British college student who falls for an American student, only to be separated from him when she's banned from the U.S. after overstaying her visa.

The film is slated to be released sometime later this year.

He's a TV junkie with a penchant for watching the same movie six times in one sitting. If you really want to understand him you need to have grown up on Sgt. Bilko, Alien, Jurassic Park and Five Easy Pieces playing in an infinite loop. Recommend something to him - he'll watch it.
