Beyonce's New Single "Run the World (Girls)"

Yesterday marked the worldwide radio debut of Beyonce's "Run The World (Girls)", the newest single off her forthcoming as-of-yet untitled fourth solo album. If you're not a fan of radio (who is anymore?), you can always pick it up on the iTunes store where it's also available (also, as of today). Produced primarily by Switch with added work by Terius Nash (aka "The Dream) and Beyonce herself, it pretty much keeps in line with Beyonce's signature sound. Though luckily this time it feels like she's not blatantly rehashing "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)". Trying some thing new (new-ish, really). Bold.

If you haven't heard "Run The World (Girls)" yet and want to take a listen, hit the jump where we've linked a YouTube video that just has the audio up against a picture (there's no music video out yet).

It's a little bit more militaristic, almost hearkening back to her Destiny's Child days in instrumentation. Taking bets now on how soon it'll top the charts.

He's a TV junkie with a penchant for watching the same movie six times in one sitting. If you really want to understand him you need to have grown up on Sgt. Bilko, Alien, Jurassic Park and Five Easy Pieces playing in an infinite loop. Recommend something to him - he'll watch it.
