Music Video Spotlight: All Mankind

all_mankind_banner

Sounding like some hybrid of Muse, Coldplay, and the Killers, All Mankind has been quietly building up its fanbase across the US, the UK, and Australia. They've been gradually creeping into the American consciousness the way many bands do nowadays: brief appearances in TV shows and commercials (The Hills, Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution). Their first EP got some radio play, but don't kick yourself if you never heard them that way. They've just finished recording their first full-length album, Simple Desire, with producer Mike Crossey over in Liverpool and it'll be hitting shelves later this year.

All Mankind is Rich Beeston (vocals/piano), Dave Beeston (drums/backing vocals), Gavin Perkins (bass), and Dorny (guitar).

Gotta love the old school but funky 3D animation.

He's a TV junkie with a penchant for watching the same movie six times in one sitting. If you really want to understand him you need to have grown up on Sgt. Bilko, Alien, Jurassic Park and Five Easy Pieces playing in an infinite loop. Recommend something to him - he'll watch it.
