"Transformers: Beast Wars" Collector's Edition Sweepstakes

Bringing Transformers into the modern world, Hasbro created a new take on their robotic minions with computer animation and an animal slant. They called it Beast Wars and kids ate it up. With 3 seasons and 20 hours worth of episodes, Beast Wars developed its own cult following even as the studio lost faith after the fist 26-episode season and cut the subsequent two down to 13. It wasn't completely unexpected though, given that CG cartoons are a lot more expensive to make and that the show was considerably darker than the original Transformers, due mostly to the fact that characters actually died on screen (or at all), unlike its series predecessor.

Transformers: Beast Wars: The Complete Series Collector's Edition arrived on DVD yesterday, and we've got two copies to giveaway to you, or robotic-lovin' readers. If you want to win, just keep reading.

The Transformers: Beast Wars: The Complete Series Collector’s Edition 8-DVD box set is jam packed with hours of content, including the entire CG animated series of Beast Wars and extras like retrospective featurettes, a 12-page book, art galleries, plus a special collectible 24-page comic book Transformers Timelines “Dawn of the Future’s Past.”  Originally published by Fun Publications for BotCon in 2006, the comic book is the official prequel story leading right up to the start of Beast Wars.
