I grew up a Star Wars nerd, on many different levels, and while I would eventually come to resent Lucas's revamping of the saga with the Prequel Trilogy, I will say this: I was usually more than pleased with the video game releases, no matter where in the timeline they fell. LucasArts and Sierra were the two video gaming gods of my childhood video gaming life (only to be usurped by Squaresoft later on), and I stuck with LucasArts's Star Wars games right up to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and its sequel. Those two games were quite epic in their scope and they played out in the semi-turn-based combat that fit with my growing love of RPG's. And so, it's with a bit off excitement that I watched the cinematic trailers for Star Wars: The Old Republic, marking LucasArts and BioWare's return to the SW:KotOR formula. It won't be the same game though, as they've added features courtesy of the lessons learned in their soon-to-be defunct MMO Star Wars Galaxies, as the Gameplay trailers have shown.
To help educate the masses on the dimension the new "class" system adds to the game, LucasArts has been releasing "Class Trailers" to give people a feel for the different options that await them. That said, here's the recently released trailer for the Jedi Consular class.
