3D Ad for 'X-Men: First Class' Projected on the Roosevelt Hotel

Last Friday X-Men: First Class debuted on DVD and Blu-ray and if you were driving along in Hollywood you may have been fortunate enough to see the 3D projected ad that Pearl Media splashed across the outside of the Roosevelt Hotel. Or unfortunate enough, if it distracted you and caused you to ram into the person in front of you or careen into a light pole. If you didn't, you can check it out now as they've uploaded the entire thing (as a recording of the projection against the hotel, not as a clip of the projection itself). It's interesting to watch through, but it takes 5 minutes to play out and, to be fair, some of the 3D effect is lost due to the not quite flat background and all the windows. The video highlights each mutant and then puts a buffer sequence between each with an effect specific to that mutant.

He's a TV junkie with a penchant for watching the same movie six times in one sitting. If you really want to understand him you need to have grown up on Sgt. Bilko, Alien, Jurassic Park and Five Easy Pieces playing in an infinite loop. Recommend something to him - he'll watch it.
