Explore a 3D Titanic from the Comfort of Your Own Home

You know what's better than strapping on a SCUBA tank, a wetsuit, fins and a mask and diving down to the watery depths to explore the remains of the Titanic? Okay, only a few things, because that'd be pretty fantastic. However, for those of us for whom that isn't a readily available option [read: everyone who isn't James Cameron], watching an exploratory expedition in high-resolution 3D on a Blu-ray in our living room analyzing the history of the ship, its survivors, and the cavernous remains resting on the ocean floor. Well, that option is finally available thanks to Titanic: 100 Years in 3D, an exceptional look the ship presented beautifully.

Does that sound like a trip you'd like to take? Then keep reading to find out how you can win a copy on 3D Blu-ray.

In 2010, an unprecedented expedition by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute and RMS Titanic, Inc. went on location to document the entire wreck site of Titanic, using high-resolution optical video, sonar, acoustic imaging, and 3D HD video and acoustic modeling. These incredible visuals will be accompanied by the untold stories of people who were on the ship, narrated in voice-over by actors. Each person’s story will be linked with one or more recovered artifacts that connect to that passenger or crewmember. These haunting artifacts and unforgettable personal stories of average people take viewers back in time, making the history of Titanic as vivid as it was yesterday.
