The Empire...err I mean Electronic Arts, which has pumped out more war games than Steven Seagal has terrible movies in the past decade has apparently gone too far for the US Military. There is now a ban on Medal Of Honor being sold on any base, due to it its extreme content.

Screw Charging: An Absurd Recommendation Against the PS3

dualshock3-openAs part of their continual "smart saving" guides, today Yahoo! Finance republished a poorly worded thus unintentionally hilarious holiday season shopping guide from SmartMoney written by Anne Kadet. Listing electronic items to avoid giving as gifts, the first pick of the litter is the PlayStation 3.

At a time when Sony's reporting a recent increase of sales (440,000 PS3 units sold the week of Thanksgiving), what reasoning is there to avoid the PS3, according to this article? Why, that pesky disposable controller that you keep having to buy new ones of, of course. Wait, what?

Another Use for Roomba: Pac-man

pacman-roombaColorado University students know just how to kick things up a notch, it looks like. Most people use their roomba for cleaning up their homes. Others use it to make their pets look ridiculously adorable. These badass developers chose to make a playable game of Pac-man.

Pac-man is controlled by a laptop while the ghosts move autonomously, chasing after Pac-man inside a maze pattern. When Pac-man sucks up a power pellet, the ghosts would start fleeing away from him. Pretty cool, right?

Super Long Final Fantasy XIII Trailer...and Release Date

Settle in and enjoy everyone because three-minute-long trailers are a thing of the past. Now we have seven minutes and ten seconds of awesome Final Fantasy XIII footage complements of Square Enix. You'll get a little gameplay footage and a whole lot of cutscene footage. But don't worry about spoilers, it's ALL in Japanese. I'm still looking for an English version (don't think it exists yet) so make do with all the shiny moving pictures. Personally, I think it looks incredible (thought that from the very first trailer) but the Japanese voice acting is somewhat strained, perhaps due to the overly stiff facial features of the characters? Well, if you're so inclined, the vid is offered in HD (and looks perfect) so don't hesitate to treat yourself.

Anyways, take a look...and notice the release date at the very end...

Philanthropy is 69 minutes long, and you can watch it here.
