Final Fantasy XIII Comes To XBox PDF Print E-mail

We may never know exactly when the newest installment of the Final Fantasy series will be released, but we do know that when it does it will not be a PS3 exclusive. Square Enix announced today at E3 that Final Fantasy XIII will be released on both the PS3 and the XBox360, making it the first FF game to launch on a non-Sony platform since Final Fantasy VI.

Accompanying the news was a never before seen trailer of the game. According to IGN, the trailer features dragons, airships and mechanical soldiers; sounds like a pretty sweet combination to me. Hopefully we'll get a general release date before the end of E3, if not there's really not any reason to get very excited here.

goddammiy...gimme a date....

on this note though, I'm kind of glad they're not going platform exclusive, I've always thought that was a ridiculous concept.

The two consoles have established themselves, there's no need to bicker about content availablility just get it out there.

Uhh I like to give Square Enix enough credit to believe they won't make the same stupid mistakes as Rock Star
