Review and news hub for movies, music and video games

As we all know, the Nintendo Wii recently released their workout game Wii Fit, which allows players to chose a workout best suited for them; yet at the same time Nintendo tries not bore the player with simple workouts by adding mini-games in between the workouts.. That being said, EA has just announced that they will be releasing EA Sports Active which will come out in Spring of 2009.

So the question is, do you wonder if this will carry onto the other big systems? Depending on the sales, we could see this kind of stuff on the X360 and the PS3. The original Xbox already has a workout based game in its past so Wii Fit is not technically something brand new and unheard of.

With the current obsession of music based games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band having spawned some awful music based games like Wii Rock and Rock Revolution, odds are that the music game will soon die off or at least lose steam. Meanwhile the workout game is getting its rebirth, especially in a country so damn unheathly and obsessed with beauty. Only time will tell but let us see what the crystal ball will hold.
