The songs will be from the upcoming re-mastered album that is set to drop on Sept 9th 2009 which is also the same day that the game itself releases too. Beatles: Rock Band, made so you can keep your drummer in obscurity as well. Well the real thing here is that this is one hell of a precedent when you think about it. With AC/DC, The Beatles and Metallica out there and have their own game what other bands could fall in line with this trend? Through my research and guessing ability I possess (as well as a crystal ball I got for $5 at a local thrift store), I have found 5 bands that I think have the best chance of lunging themselves at these music making phenoms.
5. Rolling Stones We got a taste with Paint it Black, but the sheer amount of tracks and name power they possess is too alluring to pass up. Match that along with what tracks they would pick and if they got their own game it would be a rocking powerhouse.
4. Korn Now I'm no big fan of Korn, but I do know that Johnathan Davis loves to make money and loves to remix just about anything and if you add that in with their heavy fan base then you have a monster game. They have many good songs and a crap ton of albums and plenty of instrumental work to keep you strummin' in a game setting. We have had small doses of Korn in game and they won't be overlooked for a possible solo game.
3. Linkin Park This seems obvious to me in every way. They were mainstream almost immediately and would bring in hip-hop minded people to the scene. While after Hybrid Theory they had a huge drop off to many fans, but came back with Meteora they have come back to the fame they originally gained and more. There are a good amount of tracks they could put on their own game as well as many other bands whom they like and have collaborated with. Could we see all of the Collision Course album with Jay-Z in it? Is the world ready for Numb/Encore in GH or RB?
2. Stone Temple Pilots STP has already been in the game genre a few times and if given the chance would definitely do their own game. The amount of 80s and 90s rock that would be on here would be crazy and ad that in with the appearance of Velvet Revolver in the game and you know what your asking for.
1. Ozzy Osbourne Ozzy has had a crap-ton of tracks on both Rock Band and Guitar Hero alike already, but that wouldn't stop metal's ultimate sellout specialist from digging up more and making his own game out of it. The chances with this are really high especially with the success of Guitar Hero: Metallica Ozzy is a easy comeback and one that more than likely would be down with it. This to me, is the most likely candidate for the next music game. |

Since Guitar Hero: Metallica has dropped, that means Rock Band had to try to one-up GH and has pulled out some major guns with the announcement of Beatles: Rock Band..jpg)
