Marvel: Ultimate Alliance was a comic-book fan's videogame wet dream. A solid collection of Marvel heroes put into a huge and all-encompassing plot with fully destructible environments. Really, you couldn't ask for more (though we are waiting for DC to follow suit - get on the ball). Like X-Men Legends, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance was begging for a sequel. Rather, the fans were begging for a sequel, because you just can't top a game where you can jump from controlling Deadpool to Captain America to Blade and then finally to Thor. That's just too awesome. Well, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 is kicking up the awesome with two 3D screenshots and a trailer (see below).
Some games give us screenshots (boring). Some games give us trailers (better - UA2 does that also).
But then some games take full-advantage of the current gaming age and give us three-dimensional screenshots which allow the user to pan around the picture from various angles in an uninterrupted view. That's awesome. |

But how else could they have one-upped that behemoth? You kick up the graphics, replace some of the second-rate playable characters with fan-favorites and then increase playtime. Well, if these really awesome 3D screenshots (yes, I'll explain that in a second) are any indication, the sequel's going to be a kick-ass rompin' stompin' helluva time.
