More here... To answer that last sentence: um, yes? Who knows if this'll make any impact at all—given the political nature of the Oscars, it's difficult to stay positive—but it's worth noting and it's definitely worth trying. If you believe that The Dark Knight deserves to be nominated for Best Picture, grab the video below and post it on your MySpace, Facebook, Livejournal, whathaveyous. The bigger the awareness is for this campaign, the more likely it'll reach out to AMPAS members. In a year that saw grassroots campaigns help elect a new President, maybe the same can be done to the Oscars.
