Then again, it could be fake. We don’t really know yet. It does have a certain photoshopped quality. But on the other hand, it feels like someone professionally screwed up did it. Honestly, it reminds me of Lost Girls, that infamous Alan Moore graphic novel that features Wendy from Peter Pan, Alice from Alice in Wonderland, and Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz going at it. It’s a good read if you’re willing to fork over the money (I’ve yet to see a library that stocks it). Then again, this provoked a response from me, so I hope it’s real. I’d love to see the two of them do something really raw again. Tim Burton’s version of Alice in Wonderland will be a mixture of live action and CGI, and will also feature Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Alan Rickman as the Caterpillar, Michael Sheen as the Cheshire Cat, and Crispin Glover as the Knave of Hearts. And Christopher Lee, doing we’re not sure what. The film is scheduled to be released on March 5 of 2010.
