A trailer for Eddie Lebron's Mega Man is online! Lebron is an independent filmmaker who is currently in the middle of making a full length Mega Man fan film, and the first trailer is out.

The story should be familiar to any gamer: Dr. Light created the robots Rock and Roll as his assistants, but when the ambitious Dr. Wily tries to take over the world with his own army of robots, Rock volunteers to strap up and stop them. Check out the trailer below.

Gotta love how Dr. Wily talks like Uwe Boll. A ceremonial nod, perhaps? Here's the official site for the movie.

Funny how I always prefer these fan films to a big budget adaptation. No matter how cheap and campy they turn out to be (and let's face it, this looks that way), I think I'll take the crappy B-movie made out of love over the faux-cool bastardizations that keep happening to modern video games.
