Not much is known about Rob Zombie's next film Tyrannosaurus Rex, other than the director stating that it has "nothing to do with dinosaurs." It was rumored that T-Rex is based on the 2004 comic book Zombie did with 30 Days of Night writer Steve Niles called The Nail, and that a falling out between the two led to Zombie renaming the movie adaptation to cut Niles out, but there's no truth to that, as Steve Niles himself shot the rumor down on his MySpace blog. The Nail told the story of pro-wrestler Rex Hauser (stage name The Nail), who during the course of one night must protect his family from a gang of blood-thirsty Satanic bikers. Tyrannosaurus Rex, described as an action-thriller, looks to be the same concept, but with a boxer nicknamed "Tyrannosaurus Rex" as the main character. Satanic bikers? Brutal fights? Innocents in danger? Sounds like a Rob Zombie flick to me.
