Eric Tan's Retro "Up" Poster PDF Print E-mail

It’s become a tradition in the last few Pixar films to commission illustrator/graphic designer Eric Tan to draw up a few retro-style artworks. He did it for The Incredibles, Ratatouille and WALL•E. Now we have one that he did for Pixar’s next, Up.

Tan was in attendance at Comic Con this year and Pixar Planet poster Koyla bought this Up poster there. You can check out the post here, or click the picture to view a larger size.

Pixar Planet also pointed us out to this image scanned from some Italian magazine. I don’t think this is a screenshot from the film, though. At Comic Con’s Disney/Pixar panel, they showed a short test footage that they completed a year ago to see if they could do the things they wanted to do in the film. This looks like a still from that footage. In it, Russell can’t keep up with Carl’s walking and gives up, only to be dragged up by the floating house tied to their bodies.
