I always knew that Moore has some ego on him that makes him think that everything is about him, but on this article he's pretty much saying so outright. You see, he seems to think that John Kerry lost the 2004 election because he publicly said he had not seen and will not be seeing Fahrenheit 9/11. "I sat there watching him say this, and I just felt sorry for him and for the election he was about to lose," Moore wrote. Wow. So the filmmaker's advise to Senator Obama?
What the--? So by not playing nice with Michael Moore, Obama is effectively dissing "millions" of people who happen to agree with Michael Moore on certain subjects? What is he, our collective consciousness personified? Why the hell would Moore's name even enter the race? The idea that he matters at all is insipid. What's next, Hillary Clinton lost the primary because she didn't hang with George Clooney more often? And speaking of Clooney, last Tueday FOX News reported an erronous article from London's gossip-ridden Daily Mail that Obama had been regularly texting and e-mailing the star, and even taking advises from Clooney on Middle East issues. Uh huh. Clooney was quick to dismiss the notion:
The other five of Moore's steps, by the way, are not much better. I don't intend to discuss politics on this site and I'll never tell people how they should choose their vote, but I just have to say that when the crux of Moore's strategy is "We can't acknowledge any of McCain's good policies or his past as a war hero! We must smear him like the Satan's sodomy baby that he is so people would prefer Obama!" then it's just downright pathetic and he's making a mockery of the American election process. I bet Michael Moore resents Clooney for befriending John McCain when the man clearly should have used his People's Sexiest Man of the Year talents for the Donkey Effort. For shame, Clooney. For shame. |

Michael Moore has just released a book called Mike's Election Guide 2008, which is apparently a manifesto of why the people should vote Democrat in the upcoming election and also how the Democrats can win it, in his usual humorous way. Sure, standard stuff for Michael Moore, but what caught my attention was a synopsis/excerpt he
