Hulu is really upping their game, adding more feature films to watch for free in their ever-growing list. In the past two days, they've added no less than a dozen films. The best of the bunch is saved for last. Virus (1999) Golden Globe-winner Jamie Lee Curtis plays the navigator of an ocean-going tug boat that stumbles upon an abandoned Russian ship. It does not take her and her crew long to realize that an alien entity has commandeered the vessel. A Little Sex (1982) Michael, a womanizer who enjoys sex with every woman he meets, is stopped dead in his tracks when Katherine enters his life. Can Michael make it as a one-woman man? Plunkett & Macleane (1999) Will Plunkett and Captain James Macleane, two men from different ends of the social spectrum in 18th-century England, decide to rid the aristocrats of their belongings. We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story (1993) Steven Spielberg produces this animated feature about an inventor who travels back in time to fetch dinosaurs that he brings back to modern day New York City. The prehistoric creatures soon find themselves in all sorts of fun and exciting adventures. North Shore (1987) Before entering art school next autumn, Rick (Matt Adler) sets out to spend the summer surfing Hawaii's beaches. Beethoven's 2nd (1993) Beethoven the St. Bernard dog meets Missy and they have puppies, but Missy is dog-napped, and the whole family must band together to rescue her. Thunderbirds (2004) Returning home after narrowly averting disaster on an oil rig, the world's elite, high-tech, and fearless saviors of the world -- the Thunderbirds -- find themselves under attack by master criminal The Hood. The Milagro Beanfield War (1988) A New Mexican farmer illegally diverts water only to clash with plans threatening the Hispanic farmers. Unfair water laws are protested and a war threatens to erupt. Somewhere In Time (1980) "Somewhere in Time" is the story of a young writer who sacrifices his life in the present to find happiness in the past, where true love awaits him. Opportunity Knocks (1990) On the run from a loan shark Eddie and Lou, two con men, hide out in a stranger's vacant house. The duo soon learns that the owner will be gone for months. When relatives show up at the house Eddie assumes the housekeeper's identity and hilarity ensues! Private School (1983) A young high school couple experiences the first pangs of love and act accordingly in this enticing mixture of comedy, romance, and the erotic! In the Name of the Father (1993) Riveting drama based on the true story of Gerry Conlon, an Irishman wrongly imprisoned for a fatal London bombing. Impassioned performances mirror Conlon's 15-year struggle and ultimate triumph over one of the most shameful legal events in recent history. |
