We've seen promo materials outdo the movies it's supposed to promote before. Dash and Cash, though, is pretty out there for a supplemental material. The remake of The Taking of Pelham 123 opens in Japan this week, and local distributor United Pictures hired the hyperkinetic Japanese cult director Sabu—a guy who seems to have let Run Lola Run inspire his entire career—to make this strange Pelham-inspired short as part of its marketing. Call it a hunch, but I don't think Sabu bothered seeing the Tony Scott film.
