After the departure of Hayes, show creators Trey Stone and Matt Parker bitterly killed off Chef. It wasn't hard to figure out that Hayes left South Park on less than stellar terms. With Isaac's untimely passing though, Parker and Stone have put all hard feelings aside to honor Hayes and his time spent on the show. Recently the duo have posted a memoriam for Hayes on their site South Park Studios. I've also come across a really cool Chef tribute video on YouTube which I posted below.

Former soul singer and voice of Chef on South Park, Isaac Hayes, passed away on Sunday at the age of 65. Hayes provided the voice of Chef from the shows inception in 1998, until 2006 when he quit to the show due to an episode which poked fun at Hayes' personal relegion Scientology.
