New York City's ism, whom you may know from by their hit 2006 college radio song "Breathe," has recently announced the release date for their sophomore album Urgency. Vocalist Andre Mistier and the rest of ism have decided to drop the album on August 5th.
The album will be produced by veteran producer Joe Blaney, who has worked with a number of high profile musicians such as The Clash and Prince. According to the band, the concept of Urgency will focus in on the "unflinching questions about the human condition." The first single off of the disc "Sacred Cows" is supposed to be evidence of this.

Be on the look out for ism's Urgency when it hits shelves in August.
