I'll have the recap of the panel soon, but I'd like to post something real quick that was just announced by director Pete Docter. The official site for Up was just launched today and it has a little teaser that will be included in the Wall•E DVD. Check it out here. Also, so far we haven't heard much about this film's plot at all. Now we know that it's about a 70-year-old man named Carl (played by Ed Asner) who made a promise to his wife long ago that they'd go to South America and see the tallest waterfall in the world, Paradise Falls. However life got in the way and now he's an old widower forced to move into a retirement home. So refusing to let go of their dream together, Carl ties balloons to his house—his last connection to his wife—and takes it to this lost world in South America, where he goes on a fantastical adventure. The film comes out May 29 of next year.
