Talk about a sad day. Anyone in their 20s or 30s can tell you DMB played a role, one way or another, in their current musical tastes. Even if you abandoned the jubilant band's sounds for harsher or softer ones - the DMB was a 90s musical staple. LeRoi Moore initially paired up with Dave Matthews after receiving a demo tape from the singer. Excited by what he heard, LeRoi brought in various musician friends to form the incredibly popular band. If you've ever listened to a DMB album you know the strong role the saxophone played in each song. LeRoi Moore, you will be missed.

In June LeRoi, the saxophonist for the Dave Matthews Band, was involved in an ATV accident on his farm in Charlottesville, LeRoi was admitted to the hospital but released a little while later. While he was released, it was complications from this accident that sent him to the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center where he "died unexpectedly" on August 19, 2008.
