Pennywise Prepare New Single Off 'Reason To Believe'

2008 marks California punk band Pennywise's 20th anniversary together. While many bands that have been around for two decades have been known to lose their relevancy over time, Pennywise is currently just as relevant and as popular as they've ever been.

Earlier this year the band released their ninth studio album, Reason to Believe via free download to any and everyone, a stunt that got less publicity than Radiohead recieved but was every bit as ballsy. The first single off of the album "The Western World," was also the band's most successful single ever. And, for the first time ever, the band is set to release a second single from one of their albums, that song will be "Die For You."

"Die For You" will officially be released to radio stations on September 22nd, but you can listen to the track by heading over to the band's MySpace Page. Pennywise is also preparing their headlining gig at this fall's first annual Linkfest in Irvine, CA. Other acts slated for Linkfest include Every Time I Die, Gorilla Biscuits, The Vandals and many more.
