Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith Review

"After three long years of relentless fighting, the Clone Wars are nearly at an end. The Jedi Council dispatches Obi-Wan Kenobi to bring General Grievous, the deadly leader of the Separatist droid army, to justice. Meanwhile, back on Coruscant, Chancellor Palpatine has grown in power. His sweeping political changes transform the war-weary Republic into the mighty Galactic Empire. To his closest ally, Anakin Skywalker, he reveals the true nature of power and the promised secrets of the Force in an attempt to lure him to the dark side."

Before I start with the movie itself, I would just like to point out that I am in no way a Star Wars "geek", I have no idea what the serial number was on the X-Wing Luke took to see Yoda. I don't know Darth Vader's boot size and I'm not even sure what the Emperor's favorite ice cream is. But I do love Star Wars. I'm a firm believer that Darth Vader is one of the coolest villains ever on film. Now on to the review.

This movie is by far the best of the three. Nothing really drags or even seems awkward. The actors by now, have been together for a couple years so they know how to play off each other exceptionally well. Of course this is different than most movies, because even before you sit down to watch you know it's going to turn out bad. There will be no happy ending here, evil will win. And of course it does, I'm not giving anything away by saying that. If you haven't at least seen the first three (technically IV, V and VI) then what's wrong with you???

Well what can I say, the powerful music is great, the star ships, blaster rifles and of course light sabers are amazing. This will influence a whole new generation of children to breath deeply, declare to others that they are indeed their father and of course make the light saber sound while battling their friends.

Again the actors mesh so well with each other now. And of course Samuel L. Jackson is always a pimp with his purple saber. Even Yoda's acting is great -- and he' generated by a computer. As we learned in Episode II, don't mess with Yoda, because although he's a midget, he still kicks ass and in this film only reiterates it.

Almost perfect, not much else I can say. The only major down side to this movie, besides it being the last one is that Jar Jar Binks, survives. If you have not seen this movie yet what's wrong with you? The geeks have already seen it the mandatory 10 times so you won't have to worry about someone in Jedi robes accosting you with a plastic toy. So go see it! Dark Lord of the Sith Josh commands it.
