Blood Brothers Review

First became known as a jazz-era remake of John Woo's energetic war melodrama Bullet in the Head, Blood Brothers is a tale of male camaraderie torn apart by greed. The end result, despite (or perhaps because) it was produced by Woo himself, bears little to no resemblance to Woo's Vietnam tribute save for the premise of a trio of "blood brothers" who are dropped in the middle of a world beyond them.

"Blood Brothers" opens July 8, 2008 and is rated R. Action, Drama. Directed by Alexi Tan. Written by Alexi Tan, Dan Jiang, Tony Chan. Starring Daniel Wu, Shu Qi.
