Looney Tunes Super Stars: Tweety and Sylvester Review

Anyone have an appetite for some wacky cartoon shorts? If so, you will not be disappointed in this Looney Tunes Super Stars collection. This includes fifteen shorts all starring Tweety Bird and the “puttycat” Sylvester. Fans of Looney Tunes will get their money's worth in this DVD including all the classics. The constant chaos in order to catch Tweety keeps things interesting since every short is set in a new location and even parodies classic stories such as Jack and the Beanstalk. The set also includes the short “Tweetie Pie” which won an Oscar for Warner Brothers Cartoon Unit.

Whether you are a collector of Looney Tunes or a parent looking for something to entertain your child, this is without a doubt something you should consider. Most of the shorts are less than ten minutes and are jam packed with mischief and comical violence, plenty of action to entertain your kids. For being over sixty years old, these timeless characters still entertain and remain a classic. The re-mastered sound and picture are highly noticeable and will satisfy those watching. There is no shortage of objects breaking or painful accidents to help appreciate the crisp sound and vintage imagery. Some of the shorts are repetitive and copy the same crazy antics from other shorts, but it doesn’t seem to fail in making a priceless cartoon. I wouldn’t suggest this to everyone, but to those even slightly interested, do not hesitate. For the low price of only $15.99 you can withhold fifteen classic shorts.
