Some people do a lot of risky things for money, like Ron (Jeff Kassel) and Peter (Steve Markle) who test experiments for a lab called Testico to pay the bills . From the series title alone you know what you’re getting yourself into--lots of inappropriate humor and ridiculous experiments gone bad--and it is extremely entertaining.
Ron and Peter are just two regular guys that earn their money in some irregular ways. There is ultimately no limit to what they won’t test. Whether it is gas pills or sex changes, Ron and Peter are ready to sign the contract. Co-worker/friend Larry (Kenny Hotz) is a sleazy womanizer that appears frequently to contrast the unlucky nature of Ron and Peter. Most of you may know Kenny Hotz from the TV show “Kenny vs. Spenny” which aired on Comedy Central. Kenny Hotz co-wrote all of the episodes, successfully contributing the immature aspect of the show.
A few episodes stand out more than others but putting aside the fact that there are only 13 episodes total, you’re frequently bound to see unique adventures with their own direction. One episode the two guinea pigs will be trying to remember who they are with the help from deceitful friends and in another one Peter gets his face glued to Ron’s butt cheek. These ingredients stir up twisted humor that some may find hilarious or either too much to handle. Unfortunately that is the reason it only lasted one season on FX back in 2008. No need to fear, the complete series is available (with an additional 22 webisodes included) for purchase and will not disappoint those looking for something out of the ordinary.
DVD Bonus Features
There are 22 aforementioned webisodes for you to enjoy once you have gotten through the series.
