'Doom 4' in the Pipeline Says iD Software

iD Software revealed today that production has begun on the next Doom installment currently titled as Doom 4.
"Doom is part of the id Software DNA and demands the greatest talent and brightest minds in the industry to bring the next installment of our flagship franchise to Earth," said id Software CEO Todd Hollenshead in a release.
iD Software is also making a call out to talented gameheads looking for an opportunity to work on a classic gaming franchise. Applications are being accepted to fill positions with the animation, design and production departments.

Additional information on Doom 4 are scarce, but iD's job application page states that potential employers will be working on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the title.
