Lucas Won't Make Star Wars Episode VII

A long, long time ago... In a place called the Internet, there was a wild rumor that George Lucas would make six new Star Wars movies. Three prequels and three sequels, tentatively known as Episodes I-III and VII-iX. Of course now we know that they're not making anymore Star Wars movies, but with the universe moving into a CG animated TV show, isn't there a possibility of continuing the adventures of Luke, Han and Leia? You can even get the original cast to voice (although I'm not sure Harrison Ford would go for it nowadays).
Lucas, however, told The LA Times that he's not interested. That naysaying party-pooper!
"There really isn't any story to tell there," the filmmaker said. "It's been covered in the books and video games and comic books, which are things I think are incredibly creative but that I don't really have anything to do with other than being the person who built the sandbox they're playing in."
Lucas maintains that the Star Wars movies are about the two generations of the Skywalker family--one trilogy for the father and one for the son. "When Luke saves the galaxy and redeems his father, that's where that story ends," Lucas said.
There's a ton of stories he wants to tell about the Clone Wars, though, apparently. Maybe Lucas just likes Anakin way more than Luke?
